THE MAHDI RESEMBLES THE PROPHET SULAYMAN (AS)

Abân ibn Taghlib says: I was in a mosque in Mecca with Imam Jaffari Sadiq. He took my hand and said: "...He will then command a herald who will cry out: This is the Mahdi, he will rule like Sulayman (as) and Davud (as). His commands will need no evidence or witness."  (Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani, p. 374)
 

 

THE CURRENTLY FRAGMENTED TURKISH STATES WILL UNITE AND HELP THE MAHDI

... Ibrahim ibn Ubaydullah ibn Alâ narrates that his father said that Imam Jaffari Sadiq said: The blessed Ali spoke of events that would take place after him to the appearance of the Qaim ... AND DISPERSED TURKISH FLAGS WILL APPEAR AND HELP MY SON (THE MAHDI) IN EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY.  (al-Ghaybah al-Nomani, p. 323)

...Allah will CAUSE HIM (THE MAHDI) TO CONQUER Rum, Deylem, Sind, India, Kabul and the Caspian. (Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani, p. 274)
 

 

ANGELS WILL HELP THE BLESSED MAHDI

... from Abu Hamzai Somali:

I heard Imam Muhammad Baqr say:

"When the Qaim (Mahdi) appears, Allah will help him with angels who are musawwim (who put entities in order), murdif (who follow one another), munzel (revealed, who descend) and qarrub (the very closest to Allah).

JIBRAIL WILL BE BEFORE HIM, MIKAIL TO HIS RIGHT AND ISRAFIL ON HIS LEFT.  And fear will go before him, from his right and from his left on a monthly path. Angels close (to Allah) will be on his level... (Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani, p. 274)

NINE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED ANGELS WILL DESCEND TO HELP HIM

I asked:  Will he be together with all of them? He said: Yes, they are angels who were with NUH (as) in the ark, with IBRAHIM (as) when he was cast into the flames, with MUSA (as) when the sea parted and with 'ISA (as) when Allah raised him into the sky. Four thousand of these are known and are together with the MESSENGER OF ALLAH and three hundred and thirteen angels were with him at Badr... They are all awaiting the appearance of the Qaim. (Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani,  p. 368)

Muhammed ibn Muslim says: "When one in need calls him, who will answer." Imam Muhammad Baqr has said this about this verse: This verse refers to the Qaim, IT IS JIBRAIL WHO WILL COME in the shape of a white bird from the cavity of the Kaaba AND SWEAR ALLEGIANCE TO THE MAHDI IN FULL SIGHT OF THE PEOPLE. (Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani, p. 374)
 

 

DISASTERS, CORRUPTION AND SCOURGES WILL AFFLICT THE PEOPLE PRIOR TO THE MAHDI

O Abu Hamza! THE QAIM WILL ONLY APPEAR WHEN THE PEOPLE ARE SEVERELY AFFLICTED BY FEAR, EARTHQUAKES, STRIFE AND WOE and before that there will be a plague, a sharp sword will appear among the Arabs and there will be severe disputes among the people and there will be schism and argument in the faith and the situation will change greatly. (Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani, p. 274)

Then he said: Before the coming of the Qaim, THERE WILL BE GREAT FEAR, AND THE PEOPLE WILL BE AFFLICTED BY DISASTERS, STRIFE AND WOE. (Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani,  p. 301)

MANY PEOPLE WHO SEE THE EXTENT OF THE PEOPLE'S TROUBLES AND HOW THEY DESTROY ONE ANOTHER WILL DAY AND NIGHT BEG TO DIE. (Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani, p. 274)
 

 

THE MAHDI WILL APPEAR WHEN ALL HOPE OF
HIM IS LOST

... HE (THE MAHDI) WILL APPEAR AT THE MOMENT OF  DESPAIR AND HOPELESSNESS. (Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani,  p.274)

HE WILL APPEAR AT THE MOMENT THE PEOPLE LOSE HOPE OF HIS COMING! How happy those who live to help him will be! Woe to those who harbor enmity toward him, who oppose him or his commands and to his enemies! (Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani,  p. 301)

"ALLAH WILL SEND HAZRAT MAHDI (AS) when people are in despair and say, "THERE IS NO MAHDI"... (Ali Ibn Husamaddin al-Muttaki, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-Zaman, p. 55)

"... HAZRAT MAHDI (AS) WILL APPEAR with the flag of the Messenger of Allah (saas), when people are widely afflicted AND WHEN ALL HOPE OF HIS COMING HAS BEEN LOST...  (Ali Ibn Husamaddin al-Muttaki, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-Zaman, p. 55)

Dawud ibn Kathir Riqqi says: I asked Imam Abu Abdullah: ...He [Hazrat Mahdi) (as)] is long in coming, our hearts are saddened and we are dying from a profound sorrow. He said:  "HIS COMING WILL TAKE PLACE WHEN THERE IS EVEN GREATER DESPAIR AND SORROW." (Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani, p. 208)
 


 

ALL SYSTEMS WILL BE TRIED BEFORE THE MAHDI

Hisham ibn Salim says: Imam Jaffari Sadiq said: "Until the coming of the Mahdi, every class of the people will rule the people." So that NOBODY WILL BE ABLE TO SAY "WE WOULD IMPLEMENT JUSTICE IF WE WERE IN POWER." Then the Qaim (as) will rule with truth and justice. (Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani,  p. 322)
 

 

  He will walk in the path of the Prophet (saas). 1  

  He will not waken the sleeper, and he will
shed no blood. 2		  

  He will leave no Sunnah (law) unrestored, and no oath of allegiance unkept. 3  

  He will fulfill the demands of the faith, just like the Prophet (saas). 4  

 

He will rule the whole world like Sulayman (as) and Dhu'lQarnayn.5
 

 

He will break the cross and slay the pig.6
 

 

He will break the cross and slay the pig.7
 

 

He will fill the world with justice instead of cruelty and torture.8
 

 

He will share everything out equally with truth and justice. 9
 

 

In the same way that the dwellers in the earth and sky are happy with him, so even the birds in the air, savage animals in the forests and fish in the sea will feel content. 10

 

 

Nobody from the community of Muhammad (saas) will not be pleased with him.11
 

 

A town-crier will even shout out "Does nobody need anything?" and the answer will be "We need nothing." 12
 

 

Everyone, good and bad, will be smothered in a hitherto unseen blessing. 13
 

 

Mercy will pour down from the sky. 14
 

 

Productivity in the earth will increase. 15
 

 

He will find all buried treasure. 16
 

 

All countries will open their doors to him. 17
 

 

The kings of India will bow down to him and give all their treasure to the Bayt al-Maqdis. 18

(Like all countries, the kings of India will recognize the rule of the Mahdi and come under his administration)
 

 

They will come and seek shelter behind him from all parts, as bees come and shelter in their hives.19

  


 

In his time, the wolf will graze and the sheep will graze together... 20
 
 

Children will play with snakes and scorpions... 21
 

  When people sow one measure of wheat they will receive back seven hundred measures. 22  
 

Evils... such as usury will disappear. 23
 

 

Evils... such as plague will disappear. 24
 

  Evils... such as adultery will disappear. 25  

 

Evils...such as alcohol will disappear. 26

  

 

People will live longer. 27

  

 

Goods kept in trust will be returned to
their owner. 28

  

 

Evils will be destroyed. 29

(The collapse of all organized groups, such as criminal gangs, that have recently formed to commit evil)

 

 

No-one who hates the ahl al-Bayt will remain. 30

  

 

His word will be loved among people. 31

  

 

Allah will put an end to corruption
through him. 32

  

 

Peace and security will rule the world. 33

  

 

... A woman will freely be able to go on the Hajj with five other women even though there are no men among them. 34

  

 

The sea will be parted in the same way it was parted for the Israelites. He will pass freely between it. 35

(The Mahdi will come from the East and cross the sea to the West. Since he will probably emerge in Istanbul, it suggests he will cross a bridge. Uttered 1400 years ago, the hadith indicates the building of a bridge across the Bosphorus.)
